Performed at the Kennedy Center, Washington D.C., September 2016

The costumes in “Skirt the Wall” are an example of conventional looking costumes made from alternative materials. The skirts were built from a combination of shower curtains and sheets, while the shirts are each a distinct collage of plain white t-shirts and men’s button up business shirts. The costumes were designed to work in harmony with the aesthetic of the Kennedy Center Lobby, and allude to the style of President Kennedy's era, while still allowing for maximum body movement!
